 BRAIN BASED LEARNING

 Brain based instructional strategies are ways of making connections with the students that promote long-term memory and recall

 I conducted various brain based activities during my internship.

CLASS: VIII B

WORDCROSS

1.     The students were divided into 8 groups.

2.     Students were given instructions on how and what they are supposed to fill in the crossword.

3.     Each group was given the crossword based on what they have learnt.

4.     They had to refer to the descriptions given for ACROSS and DOWN and fill in the boxes.

5.     The students who would finish the crossword first won.

6.     To encourage all the students each group was given a prize.

          

RACE TO FIND IT

CLASS: VI B

1.     The students were divided into 8 groups.

2.     The students were instructed on how and what is the game based on, that is, a topic they have already learnt.

3.     They had to search for certain terms related to the topic.

4.     The group that finds maximum number of terms wins.

5.     To encourage students all were given prizes.
